⃟  Natore Rajbari


Rani Mahal is a significant part of the Natore Rajbari (Palace) in Natore, Bangladesh, historically the residence of the prominent Rajshahi Raj family, especially famous queen Rani Bhabani, known for her benevolence and expansion of the estate in the 18th century. The sprawling complex, built by Raja Ramjivan Moitra, features architectural remnants of royal residences (including the senior and junior houses, and ruins of Rani Bhabani's dwelling), temples, lakes, and grounds, though much was damaged by an 1897 earthquake.

          𛲠Historical Significance: It served as the seat of the powerful Rajshahi Zamindari (landowning estate).

          𛲠Rani Bhabani: A renowned figure, she expanded the palace and estate significantly, becoming a symbol of good governance.

          𛲠Layout: Includes various parts like the senior royal house, junior royal house, storehouses, guest houses, temples, and ponds.

          𛲠Present State: While some parts are in ruins, it remains a popular historical site, attracting tourists interested in Bengal's royal past. 

                 

              In essence, Rani Mahal refers to the palace complex, especially associated with the rule and legacy of Rani Bhabani within the larger Natore Rajbari.
